ALONE is an organisation that provides a range of services and supports to older adults across Ireland experiencing social isolation and/or economic deprivation. They recently launched a national support line and additional services for older adults with concerns during the current coronavirus pandemic. Their support line is open Monday to Sunday, 8am-8pm, by calling 0818 222 024.
The Age Action Information Service also provides a service for older people to ensure they can access current accurate information about the coronavirus. The service is available Monday to Friday 9.30am—5pm on 01 4756989.
The Citizens Information website offers a full list of up-to-date information regarding local postal and health services, religious services, trusted household and repair services, and resources for exercising and maintaining fitness during the coronavirus pandemic.
